Human Integrity Advisory's obligations and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Lawful basis for processing

Human Integrity Advisory processes personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and determining engagement suitability) and, where applicable, contract performance.

Data retention

Enquiry data is retained for no longer than 12 months from the date of submission, unless an engagement proceeds, in which case data is retained for the period necessary to fulfil contractual obligations and any applicable legal requirements.

Your rights under UK GDPR

  • Right of access. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification. You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to erasure. You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to overriding legal obligations.
  • Right to restrict processing. You may request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Right to object. You may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
  • Right to data portability. Where processing is automated and based on consent or contract, you may request a portable copy of your data.

Supervisory authority

If you believe your data protection rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
